Empire State Bastard Share New Pounder ‘Moi?’

Tune in now...

Heavy duty partnership Empire State Bastard have shared new single ‘Moi?’ – tune in now.

The band is formed by Simon Neil and Mike Vennart – two figures with incredible experience in rock music – and their debut album lands next month. Titled ‘Rivers Of Heresy?’, it lands on September 1st and will be accompanied by a massive UK tour in November.

Set to play some huge venues across the land, Empire State Bastard swagger back into view with a brand new single. Reminiscent of the industrial sleaze of The Jesus Lizard or Tomahawk’s weighty complexity, ‘Moi?’ pushes aside everyday stubbornness.

From the preening vocal to those sludgy guitars, ‘Moi?’ is a deliciously sarcastic epic that revels in pushing aside opposition.

Simon states…

“‘Moi?’ is about people who just no matter what you talk about – and I’m guilty of this at points – will never ever see the truth, even if you dangle it in front of them. Ignorance can feel like a badge of honour these days, with people being stubborn and not being willing to enlighten themselves. I cannot believe we’ve got to the stage where that’s to be cherished.”

Tune in now.
