Eminem has announced on his own radio show this his new album will be called ‘Relapse’ and it was produced by hip hop legend and long time collaborator Dr. Dre.
The rapper was presenting his regular show on the Sirius radio station Shade 45 when he announced the news. The segment had been designed as a launch party for Eminem’s new book ‘The Way I Am’.
The rapper, real name Marshal Mathers, has been relatively quiet since his last album, ‘Encore’, in 2004. He followed that with a greatest hits set, but fresh material has been thin on the ground since then.
Eminem announced the title of ‘Relapse’ and then played a new track from the album titled ‘I’m Having A Relapse’. The release date for the new album is unknown, however fellow rapper 50 Cent appeared on the show and hinted that it could be just months away.
