Detroit rap megastar Eminem has revealed the artwork to his forthcoming album ‘Relapse’.
After a wait of nearly four years, Eminem is back. The hugely successful rapper released his new single ‘We Made You’ last week, a typically controversial rant against celebrity culture. Marshall Mathers released his autobiography ‘The Way I Am’ last year, which details his struggle against writer’s block.
Eminem’s close friend and D12 colleague died in 2005, plunging the star into a deep depression. Eventually the rapper regained his lyrical bite, and began recording with long term producer Dr Dre.
Sessions were apparently so successful that Eminem could well release another new album later in the year. Public appearances by the star are still rare, with the rapper breaking his silence to induct legendary hip hop crew Run DMC into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
The rapper should make his first live appearance in some time at the MTV Movie Awards next month, while a tour dates are still a vain hope for fans.
Eminem is also set to make a special announcement soon. A Twitter message from the man himself states “I’m with Angela Yee on Shade45 Thursday morning. Listen carefully.”
Elsewhere on Twitter the rapper reveals the frustrations of being a star, as he waits patiently for his video to be edition. Eminem also leaves a number of cryptic messages including “There’s no place to hide…”.
Eminem is set to release his new album ‘Relapse’ on May 18th.
