Pop legend Elton John has lent his piano playing skills to a track from the forthcoming, long awaited Alice In Chains album, ‘Black Gives Way To Blue’.
Appearing on the title track, a tribute to their late lead singer, Layne Staley, Elton was initially approached with some trepidation. Elton however loved the idea reportedly saying, “I think it’s a beautiful song. I really dig the sentiment of what it’s about and who its for.”
The album is set for release on the 29th of September and is the band’s first for 14th years and is also the first to feature Staley’s replacement, William DuVall.
