Elton John Exits Hospital

Tour dates re-scheduled

Hugely successful songwriter Elton John has left hospital, with tour dates set to be re-scheduled for later this year.

Elton John remains one of the biggest touring attractions on the planet. Sure his days of producing lustrous country rock are behind him, but at least the singer has also decided to put his outlandish collection of wigs back in the cupboard.

Recently the singer was sadly forced to disappoint fans by cancelling a number of tour dates. Elton John came down with a dose of E Coli, leaving him unable to perform.

A string of appearances in the UK were cancelled, with Elton John apologising to fans. Beginning in Newcastle, the cancellations mounted up until the final date of the tour in Dublin also fell by the wayside.

The singer attempted to get well in time for a series of American shows with Billy Joel, but these also fell by the wayside.

Sadly, these dates were already re-scheduled following Billy Joel’s illness earlier this year. However Elton John has now announced that he has left hospital, with the singer set to head back out on the road.

BBC News reports that Elton John is on the road to recovery, with the singer planning to return to live duties with a spectacular performance on November 14th.

Elton John is scheduled to perform with Billy Joel at the Oakland Oracle Arena. The duo had been due to kick off their tour with a show at Seattle’s Key Arena on November 4th but were forced to postpone the gig.

Elton John has yet to comment on his illness.
