Ellis Drifts Into Sheer Beauty With ‘Something Blue’

Heavenly dream pop from the Ontario songwriter...

Ontario's Ellis has shared her drifting, beautiful new song 'Something Blue'.

The songwriter released her EP 'The Fuzz' last year, a superb collection of dream pop hymns that sparked word of mouth hype.

Fat Possum are working alongside her, with 'The Fuzz' set to gain a physical release on May 22nd.

Announcing two UK shows, Ellis has now shared a wonderful new single, with the slow-moving grace of 'Something Blue' underpinning her enormous promise.

All gauzy guitars, hazy melodies, and that half-sleeping, half-awake vocal, it's bittersweet flavour is fuelled by a sense of longing for the past, and a tinge of regret.

"I think everyone has a moment that they wish they could time-travel back to and have a do-over. This song is about mine," Ellis explains. "Hindsight can be a real bitch."

Tune in now.
