Ella Isaacson Channels Almost Famous Glamour With ‘Penny Lane’

She's ready to soar...

Ella Isaacson returns with new single ‘Penny Lane’.

The American artist matches rebel-pop chic to soaring ambitions, with last year’s single ‘RUDE’ becoming a breakout moment. Since then she’s gone back into the studio, cross-referencing one of her key inspirations.

Out now, ‘Penny Lane’ is a pop-rock screamer, a release that doesn’t hold back. The title is a homage to Penny Lane, Kate Hudson’s iconic character from Almost Famous, and it aims to transplant her glamour into the modern era.

The lyrics detail a wild night with a rocker, framed by the landscapes of New York. A time when anything could happen, ‘Penny Lane’ embraces the possibility of youth, and yearns for rock star glamour.

Reminiscent of everyone from Miley Cyrus to Debbie Harry, Maneskin to the Stones, ‘Penny Lane’ is Ella Isaacson in full main character mode.

She comments…

‘Penny Lane’ is a song inspired by my upbringing in New York. It’s such a unique place where I found beauty in the city’s chaos. A night walking up to a show or bar can turn into an entire adventure, the people you meet and the experiences you have. There’s a romance and the “are we living a movie?” moments that comes with a great night out here. There is no place quite like it.

Tune in now.
