A band blessed with a wonderful catalogue, Eels are able to really play with their live set.
Heading out on tour last year, the band decided to end their European jaunt with an ambitious show at the Royal Albert Hall. Clad in suits for the occasion, Eels played material from new album ‘The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett’ in addition to plundering their archives.
Returning to encore after encore, E at one point leaped behind the Royal Albert Hall’s famed organ to radically re-work some Eels’ material.
Now the full concert is to be made available. ‘Eels – Royal Albert Hall’ will be released as a concert film and live album, featuring a plethora of extras.
Out on April 14th, check out a teaser below.
