Edwyn Collins, inventor of indie pop and an all round good egg, is set to release his new single and play a large scale UK tour.
Collins, who was not so long ago seriously ill after a brain hemorrhage, has been resting after the release of his first post-illness album “Home Again”.
The new single is the title track of that album, and is a gentle reminder of Collins assured writing style. Acerbic yet charming, Edwyn Collins is one of the music industry’s genuine unsung heroes.
“Home Again” is released in May. Edwyn Collins will also be playing the following tour dates in support of the single:
April 20th – Birmingham, The Glee Club
April 21st – Edinburgh, Queens Hall
April 22nd – Glasgow, Oran Mor
April 24th – Newcastle, Northumbria University
April 25th – Manchester Academy 2
April 26th – Leeds, Cockpit
April 29th – London, Shepherds Bush Empire
