Alt-pop riser Eden Rain returns with new song ‘I Found My Brain’.
The emerging voice was born in Leeds, but now finds herself based in London. Embracing the energy of the metropolis, she’s got a way with words, a knack for pinning down the swirling characters in her life as they pass by.
Take new single ‘I Found My Brain’. Homespun and devilishly surreal lyricism, it was constructed alongside producer Halfrhymes (Matilda Mann, Kings Elliot). The slinky guitar lines have a coy quality, while her crisp vocal makes each word count.
Part of her upcoming EP ‘But I’m Alright Now’, the new single digs into relationship drama, and attempts to retrieve her identity.
She comments…
I found my brain ( last night, down the back of the sofa) – This song was written based partially on mine and partially on my friends’ dating stories. It’s about losing your brain, your identity, yourself, to fit into someone else’s view of you.
Tune in now.
