Ed Sheeran has revealed that he plans to continue touring despite suffering a broken arm.
The keen cyclist was knocked off his bike in London recently, breaking his right arm in the process.
With a flurry of Asian dates to complete things looked bleak for fans, with Ed Sheeran's live show famously revolving around one man and a loop pedal.
Speaking on the red carpet at the Q Awards, though, Ed Sheeran said: “I can’t do some shows but I’ll be back in a month”.
He continued: “I can’t type, and I have a string of emails that I haven’t been able to look at. I have an automatic reply that goes out saying I can’t type.”
The singer explained that he could never find replacements to augment his set, saying: “I’m a one man show. There’s not a lot I can do and I’m not going to short-change fans to get another musician to play. If you come to see a show, it should be the show you’ve paid to see”.
