Eats Everything Honours Rave Heritage With Epic New Album

Check out 'We Lost Ourselves And Found A Family'...

Eats Everything has shared his epic new album ‘We Lost Ourselves And Found A Family’ in full.

Out now, the album fellows his recent XOYO residency, in which the producer and DJ packed the London venue with some friends, collaborators, and personal heroes.

It all leads in to his new album, a labour of love that charts some key points of inspiration in his life. ‘We Lost Ourselves And Found A Family’ is a letter of adoration to club culture, moving from disco and house through to rugged low-end, DNB and beyond.

Containing remarkable breadth, the album echoes Eats Everything’s DJ sets – it’s an anything-goes, all-you-can-eat affair.

There’s a ridiculous rundown of guests here, too – the inimitable Goldie offers spoken word on the title track, all-time legend Kerri Chandler appears on ‘The Deeper’, and UK great Paul Oakenfold is on ‘The Most Important Thing’.

There’s a passion for spotlighting the newgen as well – Sgt. Pokes and Coco are in effect, while Lily McKenzie voices ‘Ghosts’.

“This album is an encapsulation of my experiences with dance music throughout the ages,” says Eats Everything, aka Dan Pearce. “I touch on almost every genre, from D’n’B to boogie. Some of it’s for the dancefloor, some of it’s not. There are twists and turns, some beautiful stuff, and some gnarly stuff. I’ve collaborated with heroes of mine. It’s been a long time coming, with many pitfalls and ups and downs, but it’s ultimately been a labour of love.”

Tune in now.
