Earth Recordings are set to host a special stall at this weekend's Independent Label Market.
The imprint is responsible for all manner of lush – and highly sought after – releases, including specially curated re-issues, and unearthing (pun definitely intended) never-before-heard gems.
The Earth team will helm at stall at the latest Independent Label Market, taking place in London's Spitalfields market on Saturday (July 23rd).
Ahead of this, the team have pieced together a special playlist, and given Clash a few words:
On Saturday we return to the famed Indie Label Market for the summer edition which is always the most fun. As one of the younger labels it’s been great exposure alongside some of the industry’s long-standing record labels. The market is a regular date in our event calendar and an invaluable opportunity for networking and meeting fans.
We’ll have stock of our back catalogue – Howard Eynon’s madcap acid-folk, Trader Horne’s pastoral psychedelia, Judy Dyble’s remarkable (star-studded) anthology, alongside our continued exploration into the rare and unusual parts of legendary guitarist Bert Jansch’s discography. That means 1972’s gently baroque ‘Moonshine’, 1995’s ‘Live at the 12 Bar’ and the universally admired 1979’s paean to British birds, ‘Avocet’, as well as ‘From The Outside’ (on limited edition red and gold vinyl). Join us!
