Dylan, White On Lost Highway

Hank Williams Project Planned

A new Bob Dylan project featuring unseen and unfinished Hank Williams lyrics has recruited Jack White to its superstar ranks.

Dylan has come into the possession of a number of notebooks written by the late country star. Hank Williams wrote the book on the tragic country life, rewriting modern music, laying the groundwork for rock ‘n’ roll before perishing at the age of just 26. A mercurial performer, he is a favourite of both Dylan and Jack White.

Dylan’s plans are apparently to place music behind the lyrics, and the album is confirmed as featuring Willie Nelson and Lucinda Jackson.

Jack White is confirmed as having recorded one track for this very exciting album, although no release date has been set.
