Much-tipped pop riser Dylan will release her new mixtape ‘The Greatest Thing I’ll Never Learn’ on October 28th.
A flurry of singles have seen Dylan move to the forefront of the pop landscape, a soaring force who speaks her truth. Incoming project ‘The Greatest Thing I’ll Never Learn’ finds the songwriter operating with a broader canvas, and it’s set to land on October 28th through Island Records.
The self-proclaimed “rockstar stuck in a pop star’s body” kicks off the mixtape with a new belter, sharing fiery single ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ with fans. On DSPs now, it’s an absolute rocket, yet there’s also more than a trace of introversion in there, too.
Toying with light and shade, Dylan emerges with something potent, and triumphant.
“’Nothing Lasts Forever’ is one of my favourite tracks on the mixtape because it’s a perfect representation of who I am as a person – straight to the point, honest and entirely chaotic,” she comments. “It’s the classic Dylan contradiction of emotions between the lyrics and the track. I wanted to write a happy song about how badly I handle my feelings, and the way that people can walk in and out of your life as they please.”
