Dutch Uncles Prepare New Single

Massive tour set to begin

Manchester based indie rockers Dutch Uncles are to release their new single ‘The Ink’ on May 31st.

After years in the doldrums, Manchester’s music scene seems to be blossoming again. Just four months into the year, debut albums from the likes of Lone Lady and Delphic have brought renewed attention for the city.

With huge amounts of new music rolling out of Manchester, the time is right for Dutch Uncles to step forward. Releasing their debut EP last year, ClashMusic were on the mark inviting the band down to London for an exclusive show.

Touring widely, the band’s edgy indie rock sound has brought them widespread acclaim. Remaining unsigned, Dutch Uncles have a commitment to DIY often booking nationwide shows themselves.

However they won’t have to do that over the next few months. Personally asked by The Futureheads to join them on their nationwide tour, the Manchester based band will play their most extensive set of shows to date.

To coincide with the start of the tour, Dutch Uncles are to release their new single ‘The Ink’ on May 31st. A crisp set of new material, the release will take place as The Futureheads tour draws to a close.

Opening on April 26th, Dutch Uncles will hop aboard the tour bus as it travels around the UK. Finishing on May 12th, the band have also confirmed a number of headline dates.

Dutch Uncles have confirmed the following headline shows:

May
1 Salford Sounds From The Other City
28 Manchester Roadmenders
29 London Proud Galleries
31 Newcastle Tyne Bar
