Dusk + Blackdown Album Details

'Dasaflex' due on September 17th

Dusk + Blackdown are set to release their new album ‘Dasaflex’ through Keysound on September 17th.

When Dusk + Blackdown released their debut album four years ago, the pair swore that it would be a one off. However when Blackdown began to shy away from journalism earlier this year, it seemed that a second instalment could well be on the cards.

And so it proved. Dusk + Blackdown released an EP earlier this year, which contained contributions from a reclusive individual who might well be Burial.

Confirming plans for a new album, Dusk + Blackdown are set to release ‘Dasaflex’ through Keysound on September 17th. A quick quote from the pair: “In the period after making our debut album ‘Margins Music’ we swore we wouldn’t, couldn’t do it again. That was it – and for the exact conditions in which the album had come out of, it sorta was”.

“But then the sands began to change around us, and sifting through a sea of beats for our Rinse FM show, we began to be re-inspired, in many different ways. Four years and hundreds of thousands of possibilities later, ‘Dasaflex’ is where we’re at.”

‘Dasaflex’ is set to be released on September 17th. Tracklisting:
