Dum Dum Girls’ Dee Dee Recording With Belle & Sebastian

As new album gathers pace...

Perhaps the defining name in modern indie pop, Belle & Sebastian have been quiet of late.

Glasgow based songwriter Stuart Murdoch has been focussing on his feature film 'God Help The Girl', which features some brand new music.

Speaking to Under The Radar, though, the songwriter seemed to suggest that a new Belle & Sebastian album – which is, after all, what we all want – isn't too far away.

Stuart Murdoch: "I can say that I've made what is probably my favorite Belle and Sebastian track, and it's a duet with Dee Dee from Dum Dum girls. We're still mixing some of these songs so I don't know if I'll feel this way in six months' time, but there are some tracks that really affected me on this record so I hope they're still like that when it comes out."

So until then, check out 'God Help The Girl'.
