Welsh soul sensation Duffy is set to return with her new single ‘Rain On Your Parade’ on November 17th, it has been announced.
Little under a year ago Clash sat down with the then-unknown Duffy. Brimming with talent and enthusiasm, she has gone on to dominate 2008 – topping the charts and making our cover.
Debut album ‘Rockferry’ has sold over 3 million copies world wide, and Duffy has been nominated in four categories for the European MTV Awards.
‘Rain On Your Parade’ reunites Duffy with songwriter Steve Booker, who also composed the number one smash ‘Mercy’. A string laden stomper, it features a Bond referencing video in a cheeky swipe at the producers who overlooked her for the theme. Alicia who?
