'Endlessly' to be released in November

Duffy is set to return with her second album 'Endlessly' due to be released in November.

Duffy emerged from nowhere in 2008 to take the charts by storm. Her debut album 'Rockferry' was a slick fusion of modern pop and retro soul, buoyed by the Welsh singer's seemingly effortless voice.

Lead single 'Mercy' hit number one, and the album soon followed. All told, 'Rockferry' sold 6.5 million copies around the world, winning countless awards and turning Duffy into a bona fide star.

Winning two BRIT awards in emotional scenes, the singer also scooped a Grammy on a historic night for British talent. Touring across the world, Duffy is now an internationally recognised talent.

Returning to the studio earlier this year, Duffy hooked up with legendary songwriter Albert Hammond. Working in studios in London and New York, the pair have crafted material for the new album.

A noted songwriter in his own right, Albert Hammond crafted such classics as ‘When I Need You’, ‘The Air That I Breathe’ and ‘To All The Girls I Loved Before’. Now working with Duffy, Hammond could add some industry expertise to her natural talent.

The songs they have constructed represent the next stage of Duffy's career. Moving on from the enormous success of 'Rockferry' the singer has decided to experiment a little within her trademark sound.

Lead single 'Well, Well, Well' is a typically infectious, up beat soul stomper with the rhythm section on day release from The Roots. Adding a gritty swing to the track, the single is set to be released on November 21st.

A preview of the new album, other confirmed track titles include ‘My Boy’, ‘Endlessly’, Don’t Forsake Me’, ‘Lovestruck’ and ‘Breath Away’.

Duffy is set to release 'Endlessly' on November 28th.
