Ducky Neptune Share Breezy Single ‘Charlie’

A warming single from their upcoming debut album...

Ducky Neptune are channelling a sun-kissed nostalgia on latest single ‘Charlie’.

The track is a mellow take on indie-rock, a distinct sound that the group have coined as ‘psychedelic surf soul’. Incorporating the warmer elements of jazz, ‘Charlie’ allows for Josh Blanco’s gruff vocals to take centre-stage and unite his listeners.

Hailing from Tennessee, the band is made up of Shane Ray (guitar), Ari Fine (keys and saxophone), John Aldridge (drums) and Blanco. First venturing into music with their 2020 self-titled EP, they stumbled upon a niche blend that feels reflective of their broad-spanning influences. Now gearing towards their debut album ‘Insensitive Plastic’, Ducky Neptune are taking a slight turn in their direction, opting for a breezy melancholia across their lead single.

‘Charlie’ is an uplifting introduction to the band’s next steps, sure to please crowds all-round.
