Dua Lipa has offered fans an insight into her second album.
The London artist retreated to the studio as 2018 drew to an end, aiming to follow the spectacular success of her stellar pop debut.
It seems that a few guests have been called in, with disco kingpin and all-round force of nature Nile Rodgers working alongside Dua.
She wrote on in a statement to fans: "I want to keep you all in and part of the process so, as I’m slowly going on and starting to finish songs for my next album, yesterday was truly one for the books…"
Given her debut was “such a predominately electronic album” the singer decided that the follow up “needed a lot more live instrumentation.”
She continued: “This album I’m doing exactly that. I was in the studio last night with the legend @nilerodgers and I was on the brink of tears as I saw more life being brought into these records!”
Dua finished: “Every day we’re getting a little bit closer… I am so excited for you to hear this!”
