Dry Cleaning Share Quietly Powerful Video For ‘Viking Hair’

Shot at a line dancing event in South London...

Dry Cleaning have shared the new video for 'Viking Hair'.

The band's scientific daring has made fresh incisions in the post-punk template, with their debut EP 'Sweet Princess' impressing all who ventured upon it.

Follow up EP 'Boundary Road Snacks And Drinks' will be released shortly, while both EPs will be compiled together for a 12" vinyl release.

The latest missive from 'Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks' is online now, with 'Viking Hair' finding Dry Cleaning at their most absorbing.

The video takes this a step further, placing the action in a line dancing club in South London. Shot and edited by the band alongside Pedro Pina, it's a cute and oddly moving, sometimes powerful clip.

The band comment…

"Cactus Club is a weekly LGBT line dancing class and club where everyone is welcome. Based in Clapham, South London, it was established in 1993 and is run by Michael, Anne and Peter. Whilst recording 'Viking Hair,' we noticed the mood and rhythm of the song brought line dancing to mind."

"We found Cactus Club online and approached them to see if they would be interested in helping us to make a video. Dry Cleaning wish to thank the Cactus Club organisers and all the dancers who took part for sharing the fantastic atmosphere at their club with us, and for their enthusiasm and expertise."
