Dry Cleaning have shared their new EP ‘Swampy’ in full.
The Bristol group returned last year with their excellent ‘Stumpwork’ LP, which built on the acerbic post-punk promise of their debut. Hitting the road, Dry Cleaning completed a lengthy North American run, before setting their sights on the UK.
Joined by Thus Love, the band play London’s Roundhouse on March 3rd, with Dry Cleaning sharing something new ahead of this.
Out now, ‘Swampy’ is dubbed as a companion release to last year’s LP, boasting two new songs – ‘Swampy’ and ‘Sombre Two’ – alongside a demo, and remixes from Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul and Nourished By Time.
Dry Cleaning comment…
“We asked Marcus (aka Nourished by Time) to remix his choice of song from Stumpwork as we are big fans of his amazing voice, tender lyrics and emotional, brilliant songwriting. We love Charlotte and Bolis’s music: their approach to live performance; the humor they work into their songs; their unique take on energizing and layered dance music. It is really gratifying to hear our songs in a new way and exciting to connect and collaborate with artists we admire.”
Tune in now.
