Drenge are set to release their new single 'Backwaters' on July 1st.
The message is clear: sack the bass player. The past 12 months have seen a slew of two piece groups emerge, with nary a four string between them.
From Deap Vally to Wet Nuns, two is the number of choice for a new breed of feral, garage rock outfits. Drenge have come bounding out of Castleton, and – if their early material is any indication – the band could well make the bass guitar a thing of the past.
New single 'Backwaters' is set to emerge on July 1st, and it's a typically brutal comeback. Available on seven inch vinyl and digital download, the flip features 'Necromance Is Dead'.
