Theme Park are streaming a new mixtape ahead of their appearance at a Kitsune show in December.
Matching dancefloor ambitions to classic pop songwriting, Theme Park have managed to cause a massive stir in a short space of time. Picked to appear on a Kitsune Maison compilation, the newcomers are set to maintain their association with an upcoming show.
Organising a Christmas party, Kitsune Maison have roped in Theme Park for a special live performance. All this on the day that the band confirm a support slot on Florence & The Machine’s epic Spring tour…
Looking ahead, the band have compiled a new mix. Highlighting influences, inspirations and more the mix opens with a chilled out cut from Bon Iver before seguing into ‘Genius Of Love’ by the Tom Tom Club.
Hitting a dancefloor vein, the mix veers between jazz funk – Donald Byrd! – and bass driven house – Julio Bashmore! – before finding its own tempo. Mixing Arthur Russell and J Dilla, the mix ends with ‘Fallin’ In Love’ by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds.
