The 2 Bears are giving away new track ‘Tourette’s Hero’ in order to raise awareness of a new charity.
A partnership between Raf Daddy and Joe Goddard, The 2 Bears have a cheeky pop touch which has enabled to push their way into the mainstream. Gaining plays on breakfast radio, the duo’s fun side doesn’t prevent them from playing it straight now and again.
The 2 Bears performed at the launch of new charity Tourette’s Hero in September, and have now crafted a track in honour of the organisation.
Sampling the vocal ticks of the charity’s founder Jessica Thom, the duo began crafting a house track to showcase the creativity and humour of Tourettes in an accessible way.
“Our friends Mathew and Jess set up a charity / foundation for young folk with Tourettes syndrome” explained Raf Daddy. “Jess recorded and sent us a load of her ticks and we made a track out of them. It’s a really great cause and one we’re fully behind.”

The 2 Bears are currently preparing to release their debut album. ‘Be Strong’ is set to drop on late January, while upcoming single ‘Work’ is due to be released in the opening weeks of 2012.
