Is Tropical have confirmed details of a free download single ahead of a new British tour.
It’s been a big year for Is Tropical. The London based three piece began 2010 as relative unknowns, having rarely ventured outside the confines of the capital.
Releasing several blasting singles, the band’s electric synth-pop has dominated dancefloors across the country. Is Tropical have a dynamic live show, which involved plenty of their now trademark masks and self-made projections.
Now signed to uber-hip French label Kitsune, Is Tropical are preparing to release their new single ‘South Pacific’ on November 22nd. Available on seven inch vinyl, the trio have been remixed by Peaces, Database, Yojimbo and Get People.
Deciding to reward fans for an important year, Is Tropical have made the track available as a free download. Click HERE to grab your copy!
Only the band’s second single, ‘South Pacific’ is an irresistible slice of synth-pop. Coming out with all guns blazing, the track is taken from their forthcoming album due to be released through Kitsune.
Meanwhile, Is Tropical plan to end the year with a series of live dates. Headlining the hit Leeds night Nation Of Shopkeepers, the band will then hop aboard the Mystery Jets tour bus as the main support.
Playing some large venues, the upcoming shows will expose Is Tropical to a raft of new fans. Ending in London on November 19th, the trio will take pride of place at a new Kitsune Maison Party.
