Mazes have made 'Bodies', the first track from their forthcoming album, available to download for free from their Soundcloud page.
Currently touring in support of The Cribs, Mazes have put together a limited edition cassette that they'll be flogging from their merch stall consisting of 'Bodies' and a B-side of the same track remixed by Hookworms. Following on from their debut album 'A Thousand Heys', released via FatCat Records last April, the band seem to have eschewed the more compact pop sensibilities that defined that record and embraced a more expansive sound with 'Bodies'. Scheduled for an early 2013 release date, details about the new album are scarce but Mazes have confirmed on their blog that 'Bodies' is "the first song off our new record".
