Newcomers hit the road

London based newcomers Dead Wolf Club are giving away new track ‘Radar’ as their latest tour gets under way.

Some bands meet at school. Others meet online, swapping influences across the web. Dead Wolf Club met on an airplane, a few thousand feet above Paris – go figure…

Hailing from a small town, Dead Wolf Club have all the ambition, hunger and desire that small town life can give you. Working on their debut album, the band’s taut riffology recalls Manchester types Nine Black Alps.

Scene Not Herd have stepped in to offer support, with the bloggers turned promoters turned label bosses set to release the band’s debut album. ClashMusic have been offered a sneak preview, and – being nosy types – we simply couldn’t refuse.

‘Radar’ contains traces of post-punk, with the chugging, bass heavy riff giving way to fast, choppy Stephen Morris style drumming. Sounding a bit like Bloc Party before the synths arrived to spoil the fun, ‘Radar’ is an intriguing first offering.
