Japanese producer Anchorsong has released his new track ‘Plum Rain’ as a free download.
Originally from Tokyo, Anchorsong is now based in London. Yet the sense of being an outsider permeates his work, with the producer stubbornly refusing to go down the usual paths of making electronic music.
Far from being alien to the dancefloor, his music nonetheless operates in a quite distinct area. Making a name for himself via his live shows, Anchorsong has now penned a deal with Tru Thoughts.
Preparing his new single for release, ‘Ghost Touch’ is out today. A stirring piece of electronics, the track comes backed with the new piece ‘Plum Rain’.

Anchorsong is gearing up for the release of his debut album. Also due on Tru Thoughts, ‘Chapters’ is set to be released on November 28th.
