Doves Announce New Album ‘Constellations For The Lonely’

It's their first in four years...

Doves will release new album ‘Constellations For The Lonely’ next year.

The Manchester band are back, with news of their first album in four years. Tasked with following the No. 1 success of ‘The Universal Want’, Doves have been through a period of transition, working between locations in GreaterManchester, North Wales and Cheshire.

Doves have written, recorded, and produced their new album, with additional production from long-term collaborator, Dan Austin.

Out on February 14th, ‘Constellations For The Lonely’ features 10 songs, available on standard and special edition vinyl, CD, cassette and digital.

New single ‘Renegade’ is out now, a rousing return with a typically angelic Jimi Goodwin vocal.

The band’s drummer, vocalist and co-songwriter, Andy Williams says…

“Looking at everyone’s lives over recent years, and considering the news at the moment, ‘Renegade’ feels a lot more loaded in retrospect. We wanted to go for a dystopian feel, thinking about Manchester itself over the next century or so. A totally imaginary thing… ‘Blade Runner’ set in our home city.”

Tune in now.
