Donald Trump Falsely Claims Taylor Swift Endorsement – He’s Shared AI Imagery

Fans want the pop icon to sue...

Donald Trump has falsely claimed Taylor Swift’s endorsement, after re-sharing AI altered imagery.

The Presidential run is already hotting up, with months to go before polls open – Republican candidate Donald Trump has started campaigning, with the Democrats aligning behind Kamala Harris.

Somewhat bizarrely, Donald Trump appeared to claim Taylor Swift’s endorsement, sharing a confusing post on his social media platform, Truth Social.

The AI edited imagery seemed to suggest that Taylor Swift – and her army of fans – wanted people to vote for Trump.

Fans were enraged, with many demanding Taylor Swift take out legal action against the politician.

Ironically, Taylor Swift was initially criticised for being slow in condemning Donald Trump – she grew up in a country scene marked by the ostracisation of The Chicks (then Dixie Chicks) following their opposition to the second Gulf War.

However Taylor grew to strongly condemn the Republican politician, criticising him for his response to the nationwide protests in America following the death of George Floyd at the hands of police.

She wrote at the time: “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November”.

Taylor also took down Donald Trump during the USPS scandal: “Donald Trump’s ineffective leadership gravely worsened the crisis that we are in and he is now taking advantage of it to subvert and destroy our right to vote and vote safely. Request a ballot early. Vote early.”

In short: she was never going to endorse the Republican candidate.

Taylor Swift is currently in the UK, completing her epic run at London’s Wembley Stadium.
