Don Glori Shares Beautiful New Song ‘Brown Eyes’

A soulful kaleidoscope from the Australian artist...

Don Glori and ML Hall combine on new single ‘Brown Eyes’.

Don Glori is based in Melbourne / Naarm, a city whose thriving arts scene has long inspired us. Working on a number of different endeavours, his solo work pulls from multiple aspects, a kaleidoscopic fusion of jazz, soul, and funk.

A full album is incoming this year, built alongside some of his closest friends. Seemingly recorded over two days, the material has an improvisatory sparkle.

Out on May 16th, the album is titled ‘Paper Can’t Wrap Fire’ – an old Chinese proverb, roughly translated as ‘you can’t deny the truth’.

Real name Gordon Li, Don Glori previews the album with beautiful ‘Brown Eyes’ – a combination of his approach and guest ML Hall, it moves between the creative liquidity of jazz and the floral melodics of soul.

Tune in now.
