Pete Doherty kicked off his solo UK tour last night in London by playing a host of Libertines classics with Blur guitarist Graham Coxon.
Coxon – who also plays guitar on Doherty’s forthcoming solo album ‘Grace/Wastelands’ – played for most of the set, which found the pair unleashing new material from the album and a string of Libertines tracks such as ‘Music When The Lights Go Out’ and ‘What A Waster’.
The sold-out crowd were later greeted to further performances from long-term Doherty associate Dot Allison and album producer Stephen Street. The Pete Doherty show is back, and well underway, then.
