Bedford risers Dog Race have shared new single ‘There’s A Mouse In My House’.
The band caught attention with last year’s excellent debut single ‘Terror’, boasting production from Jessica Winter. A flurry of hit-and-run DIY shows saw Dog Race preview new material, garnering word of mouth hype in London’s close knit DIY communities.
Set to play Brixton Windmill on April 7th, new single ‘There’s A Mouse In My House’ is another vivid step forwards from Dog Race. The trio channel the menace of early Bauhaus, offering splinters of lo-fi analogue electronics alongside a surrealist alt-pop viewpoint.
Engaging and original, it boasts production from Ali Chant. Dog Race comment…
“‘There’s A Mouse In My House’ is about a period in my life fueled by intense paranoia due to my quick, often not thought-out, decision-making and the unknown of whether it will help or hinder my future.”
Tune in now.
