Dog Is Dead have added an extra London date to their upcoming November tour.
The Nottingham music scene is gathering momentum. Natives to the city have known for some time that the area is home to a number of promising acts, but it seems that those beyond the Nottingham borders are now catching up.
Groups such as Swimming are leading the way, developing their own sound and honing their live show. Dog Is Dead could be the next group from Nottingham to make an impression, with new single ‘Hands Down’ winning airplay in some important places.
Out today (October 31st) the track is a typically lively slice of sax infused indie. Pop without being slick, inventive without being anal ‘Hands Down’ is one of the best things Dog Is Dead have yet put their name to.
