British Sea Power return in the new year with their latest album entitled “Do You Like Rock Music?”. The album will be released on January 14th, with a single – “Waving Flags” – preceding it on January 7th.
The follow up to “Open Season” this, the band’s third album was recorded in the Czech Republic, Cornwall and Cananda – the band presumably on a mission to visit as many places as possible that begin with ‘c’.
In Cornwall, British Sea Power recorded at Fort Tregantle, a 19th century coastal redoubt, whilst out in the Czech woodlands wild boar would run past the studio windows.
The band will also be touring in November, visiting the following venues:
November 7th – Caberet Voltaire, Edinburgh
November 8th – All Saints Church, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
November 9th – Tan Hill Inn, Swaledale, Yorkshire
November 10th – Scala, London
