DJ Shadow has uploaded the set branded 'too future' by a club in Miami, Florida.
DJ Shadow has never opted to rest on his laurels. Sure, the hip hop icon might have pieced together a 'Best Of' package at the tail end of 2012 but the producer was – if anything – more forward thinking than ever before.
An incident in Miami only seemed to confirm this. Booked to play at the city's Mansion club, DJ Shadow was asked to cut his set short – something the beatsmith blamed on being "too future". Now DJ Shadow has uploaded the set to SoundCloud.

DJ Shadow’s "All Basses Covered" set has morphed and evolved to incorporate as many different contemporary genres of urban and electronic music as possible. From hardcore rap to footwork and juke and beyond, Shadow has combed the web to curate seamless and dexterous blends of the most progressive sounds bubbling up from the underground. ‘Too hard?’ ‘Too future?’ Or just too raw? As always, DJ Shadow has provoked crucial flashpoints of discussion about the discipline of DJ’ing that have defined our turbulent times.
