Shola Ama needs no introduction, a golden-voiced siren of British soul who did so much to push UKG to its highest levels during that imperial run.
On the other hand, Hans Glader reps the newgen – he's a young gun producer, who tackles UKG from a different perspective.
These viewpoints collide artfully on 'I Can't Stay' which is an absolute, out and out summer banger – catchy as hell, there are some delicious technical moments in the production.
Complete with plenty of low-end swagger, it comes as the country experiences a post-Euros heatwave; couldn't be better timed, to be honest…
