Dizzee Rascal has released a new free download mixtape featuring appearances from Example, Kano and more.
Dizzee Rascal has come a long way. Now a genuine household name, the Grime legend decided to take last year off after conquering the charts.
Seeking out new musicians, the rapper is apparently looking to pursue a rock direction after (reportedly) hooking up with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden and admitting an admiration for Foo Fighters.
Now Dizzee Rascal has released a new 25 track mixtape via his official website. Featuring some brand new material, the mixtape was produced by the in-house team at Dizzee Rascal’s Dirtee Stank label.
Amongst the MCs dropping by the studio on ‘Dirteetv.com’ are Kano and Example, while Newham Generals and Scufizzer also appear.
As ever, there are plenty of audio drop ins from DJs including the Radio 1 trio Tim Westwood, Zane Lowe and Annie Mac.

Now signed to Universal Music following the EMI takeover, sessions are continuing on the new Dizzee Rascal album. Speaking to The Sun last year, the rapper admitted that he was tempted to move in a rock direction.
“I’d like to to work with Kanye West and Andre 3000. But Dave Grohl is the one – I met him last year and he was really cool. I’ve loved him since his Nirvana days. I love the way he carries himself. He refused to live in the shadow of Nirvana. He’s carved his own thing.”
He continued by saying: “I’d love to have him in the studio just to see how he views things. I’ve done rock with the Arctic Monkeys and it was just second nature. I’d love for Dave to produce a track, or just get his perspective and get some of the shit he knows. Next album, I’d love to.”
