Dirty Projectors have outlined plans for a remix EP 'The Socialites' based on material from last year's 'Swing Lo Magellan' album.
Dirty Projectors aren't your average indie band. To put it mildly – there's a lot going on in their music. Last year's full length 'Swing Lo Magellan' for example, straddled everything from acoustic songcraft to Afrobeat, from straight up pop moments to wired, weird post-punk excursions.
Which is why they're prime material for guest producers. Handing three tracks to some close friends and fellow travellers, Dirty Projectors have pieced together new remix EP 'The Socialites'.
Available on white label 12 inch vinyl, the release features remixes from Joe Goddard, AlunaGeorge and FaltyDL.
