Dirtbombs Return To UK

Seminal Detroit Band To Tour

Seminal Detroit garage band The Dirtbombs are set to return to the UK in December for a massive UK tour.

Lead by Mick Collins – formerly of the equally seminal garage outfit The Gories – The Dirtbombs have underwent massive personnel changes since they began in the mid 90s. Essentially revolving around the intense stage presence of Collins, the band were a huge influence on the Detroit scene that spawned The White Stripes, The Greenhornes, The Von Bondies and many more.

Currently boasting Jack White’s cousin Ben Blackwell in their ranks, The Dirtbombs released new album ‘We Have You Surrounded’ earlier this year. A typically raucous affair, the current line up has two bass players and also two drummers.

The Dirtbombs are set to play the following dates:

December 1st – Dublin, Whelans
December 2nd – Galway, Roisin Dubh
December 3rd – Belfast, Limelight
December 4th – Leeds, Faversham
December 5th – Somerset, All Tomorrows Parties
