German electro duo Digitalism have been forced to postpone their British tour due to illness, it has emerged.
With new single “pogo” set to be released with additional, unreleased, remixes this represents a big blow to the band. The tour would have taken in such venues as Glasgow’s Arches and London’s Astoria, with many fans left disappointed.
In a statement the band said: “We are really sorry that we have to cancel our UK tour due to serious illness of Isi. He needs the rest to recover but we will be touring again from 3rd May in Murcia / Spain and try to be back in the UK soon.”
Fans are advised to keep hold of their tickets as both band and label attempt to reschedule the tour.
Digitalism will release “Pogo” through Virgin Records on May 26th.
