Previously, Portishead member Geoff Barrow took umbrage with The Weeknd for sampling / re-creating (delete as appropriate) his track 'Machine Gun' on 'You Belong To The World'.
Now the producer seems to have spotted another infringement. Last night (September 8th) Geoff Barrow tweeted a Whosampled link to Phantogram, asking why one of his drum loops for The Jimi Entley Sound track 'Charlie's Theme' seemed to have been used without permission.
Rt. @Phantogram aren't getting back to my polite tweets asking why they sampled me without asking http://t.co/OmvtyWsut3 Must be busy?

You see @Phantogram have just sold it their tune to a Gillette advert so I hear my drums about 6 times a day and it got me wondering….

So I think I've got a right to ask them about it?
