Dewar’s have launched a new collaborative project featuring Slow Club, King Creosote and Raghu Dixit.
Award winning Scottish whiskey brand Dewar’s are to bring musical talent together, inviting songwriters from different countries to take part in a new project.
First up, the brand have turned to someone quite local. King Creosote is born, bred and based in Fife using his locality to fuel his songwriting. Recently earning a Mercury nomination, the artist is now set to take part in an unusual project.
King Creosote is set to record with Rotherham based duo Slow Club, while Indian group Raghu Dixit will also be on hand.
Looking ahead, King Creosote said: “I’m looking forward to getting in the studio together as stylistically we’ve all evolved and it will be interesting to see how all of our individual sounds combine…”
Slow Club, meanwhile, were also looking forward to the project. “As a duo we always look to experiment with the instruments we use and the sounds that we create” Charles Watson said. “Working with such a unique line up of musicians will be a fresh experience and we can’t wait to see the inspired tracks that come out of our collaboration”.
