It's a vinyl-only venture...

Deptford Northern Soul Club are set to launch their own label.

The project - helmed by Will Foot and Lewis Henderson - was kicked off in 2016, a crate-digging venture inspired by the Northern Soul underground.

Taking the South London venture across the country, Deptford Northern Soul Club have turned themselves into a cult phenomenon.

Glastonbury staples, the duo have now joined with PIAS to launch their own imprint, dedicated to getting classic soul dancefloor fillers back out in the pubic consciousness.

The project kicks off on November 29th with a brand new, extremely limited, seven inch release which you can order HERE.

On the A-Side you can find a gritty take from Lester Tipton, a long-lost soul hero who only released one official record.

'This Won't Change' is a muscular dancefloor killer, something that epitomises Deptford Northern Soul Club's approach to club culture.

On the flip, you'll be able to soak up Edward Hamilton and The Arabian’s romance-fuelled 'Baby Don’t You Weep'.

Will and Lewis comment...

“After scouring record shops, markets and the internet for the best music for our sets we became increasingly frustrated at the cost and poor quality of the records that we wanted to play. Whilst being happy to use digital alternatives in their place, good quality WAVs for some of the more obscure tracks became near impossible to find. So, from day one we began to make a list of all the tracks we played out that were unobtainable on vinyl and those we could only have dreamt of playing that it seemed were lost to time.”

“This list became the bedrock for Deptford Northern Soul Club Records, and with the help of Northern fans up and down the UK it grew to the point where we began searching for the rights and the highest quality audio to reissue. KTF!”

Catch Deptford Northern Soul Club at London's Moth Club on November 29th.
