Deijuvhs has revealed plans for new mixtape ‘Cemetery Scum’.
A key underground figure, the artist’s pan-genre approach sees Deijuvhs pick from a multitude of alt styles, to blend something distinctive, and purely his own.
Released on May 2nd via boutique label 23 Recordings (which sits under the Atlantic umbrella), new mixtape ‘Cemetery Scum’ is a radical 10-track statement.
Recent single ‘LOTUS’ is a nu-metal adjacent burner, with the trap beat given a DNB injection; eerie follow-up ‘Black Metal’ showed the more spartan, atmospheric side to Deijuvhs’ art.
Out now, new single ‘Comatose’ is a subversive rabble-rouser, with the muscular chorus pushing back against the normalisation of excessive alcohol use in UK society. A dry Jan mosh pit starter? Stranger things have happened.
