Dehd will release new album ‘Poetry’ this Spring.
The band packed up their things last year, using a road trip to New Mexico as an excuse to dig out their guitars and focus once more on their songwriting. Completing work at a borrowed cabin on the Puget Sound, Dehd then recruited Ziyad Asrar of Whitney to co-produce the album.
Working from Palisade Studio, the songwriting finds Dehd gently maturing, citing Charles Bukowski’s poem The Laughing Heart as a point of inspiration.
