Death Grips have signed to Columbia and firmed up details of two new studio albums.
Well, they were never likely to remain independent for long. In the end, though, Columbia have won the battle for Death Grips’ signature with the hip hop iconoclasts penning a new deal with the historic label.
Currently at work on two studio albums, Death Grips have now confirmed release plans for the first of these. ‘The Money Store’ will be released on April 23rd, although a vinyl edition drops on April 21st in time for Record Store Day.
No word on the final tracklisting as yet, although ‘The Money Store’ will contain ‘Blackjack’ and ‘Get Got’. Watch the clip for ‘Blackjack’ below:

Looking ahead, Death Grips are planning to release a second album titled ‘No Love’ in the Autumn. On the live front, Death Grips are set to appear at this year’s Field Day alongside appearances at Coachella and Primavera Sound.
‘The Money Store’ drops on April 23rd.
